Week 8 is upon us and that means we get treated to our favorite game of the week, Thursday Night Football aka the most colorful night in football. The last few weeks of TNF have been some great games. Last week, the Chiefs and the Raiders treated us to a shootout. The Eagles and Panthers was a pretty good game as well, but admittedly, I was more engrossed with the Nationals losing in Game 5 to the Cubs. While the product on the field has been fantastic, the color rush jerseys have been even better. Color Rush uniforms have even been making appearances outside of Thursday night with the Patriots rocking the all-navy blue last Sunday. So while we can expect some great color rush uniforms tonight, what can we expect from the actual game? Let's breakdown both teams.

The Ravens:

Currently, the spread is -3.0 Ravens, and at first glance at those all purple color rush, there is no chance the Ravens do not cover that spread. Honestly, the Ravens should just scrap all of their uniform combinations and stick to just all-purple and the all-black alternative jerseys. While the Color Rush advantage for Baltimore is huge, it also helps that they still have their starting quarterback. Joe Flacco has been playing terribly this season, but in comparison to Matt Moore, Flacco is still E-L-I-T-E. Terrell Suggs and the Ravens' defense will mainly look to shut down Jay Ajayi, and if they are successful in doing so, expect Baltimore to roll to a victory because I am selling Matt Moore faster than Equifax executives can sell their stock holdings. Even with the Ravens offense struggling this season, Flacco is leaps and bounds better than Moore and that quarterback advantage will push the Ravens over the Phins.

The Dolphins:

Unfortunately for Color Rush fans, the Dolphins will not be rocking these slick neon-orange uniforms tonights. Instead, they will be donning a new all-white jersey. Whoever decided to rob us of the potential all-purple vs. all-orange matchup needs to be fired. That game would have been pure unadulterated Color Rush bliss. The Dolphins are on a three-game winning streak, but throughout the season, their offense has been lackadaisical. Jay Cutler has been showing some rust. Jay Ajayi has been consistently underperforming. However, Miami has been able to push through those obstacles, and it looks like Cutler will be out a few weeks with a ribs injury, so in steps Matt Moore. That's why the Ravens will win tonight. Simply put, Matt Moore is not good. It also doesn't help that the Dolphins will not be in those neon-orange jerseys because if they were, they would at least have the Color Rush advantage, which is all you need.
