Folks,,,,, it has been a little bit of time since I last wrote up a post and for that, I apologize. Last week on Thanksgiving, we were treated to 3 games and unfortunately, no team wore any Color Rush uniforms. That is an absolute travesty and personally, I am petitioning for Roger Goodell's job. Thanksgiving Color Rush would've grown the game exponentially.
Since I have started this little project, I have gone 4-0 for Color Rush games.
At this point, I really should start putting some money down on Thursday Night games. Tonight, we have my Redskins going up against divisional foe, the Dallas Cowboys at Jerry's World. Let's go.
The Redskins:
It has been a weird week for the Redskins. Upper management, including the GM Bruce Allen, completely rebelled against the NFL and came out and said that the team would not wear Color Rush uniforms. Luckily for all of us, they reneged on that threat. WOAH BABY! Look at those bad boys. I love the slight throwback to the all-burgundy of the Clinton Portis era. These are a big time Color Rush advantage for the Skins and while I am slightly biased to say the least, I would bet that the Redskins will cover the -2 spread. Yeah, the Skins are slightly beat up all-around with injuries, but that being said, they are getting healthier and unit by unit, they are better. Kirk Cousins is a top-10 quarterback and Jamison Crowder should have a big day. Jordan Reed will be out, but Trent Williams will be active according to Pro Football Talk. Hopefully, Zach Brown will also be able to suit up. Even if he isn't able to go, the Redskins D should be able to stifle Dak and Alfred Morris.
The Cowboys:
Well, lets just say, I don't like this team at all and their Color Rush uniforms don't help. THOSE STINK OUT LOUD! Completely boring and bland. Redskins cover easily and also win.
PS. I have convinced myself that the Redskins will win out and make the playoffs. I am excited to be broken by D.C. sports again.
