Welcome to another edition of Color Rush preview and tonight, we see a NFC West matchup of the birds. Before we get into the breakdown, your boy is 2-0 so far on Thursday Night predictions. The Jets absolutely beat up on the Bill last week and you really have to think that if the Bills actually wore Color Rush jerseys, they would have had a better week. New York really showed that the Color Rush advantage is the key to winning on Thursday night. This week we have the Seahawks traveling down to Arizona to take on the Cardinals. Let's break it down.
Seahawks:
Wow. Those are absolute fire uniforms. Nothing is more epitome of Color Rush than neon-lime green. Those definitely give Seattle the Color Rush advantage. The Seahawks come into Arizona 6 and half point favorites and there is reason to think that they will win this game. Last week, Kirk Cousins and my Redskins came into Seattle and walked away with a win, so that definitely doesn't sit well with the Seahawks, who are looking to keep pace with the NFC West leading LA Rams (RIP Jeff Fisher). Seattle is on paper the superior team. Their defense is still one of the best units in the NFL. Russell Wilson has been playing out of his mind recently and Duane Brown has solidified the offensive line since being traded from Houston. *Extreme Stephen A Smith voice* HOWEVA, the Seahawks are banged up all-around and especially on D. Eddie Lacy is out, so Thomas Rawls looks to step in at running back. Earl Thomas? Doubtful. Paul Richardson? Game-time decision. Sheldon Richardson and Richard Sherman? Both are questionable for tonight. If Seattle can overcome these injuries, they have a good shot at winning and its mainly because of those uniforms.
Cardinals:
While Seattle has the Color Rush advantage tonight, these are some really sharp uniforms from Arizona. Any other night they would probably have the Color Rush advantage. I am a big fan of the all-black uniforms and the metallic red is a nice touch as well. That being said, Arizona is looking to right the ship with a win tonight. Carson Palmer needs to have a big game and if he does, Larry Fitzgerald will be the prime target. Since joining the Cards, Adrian Peterson has had a resurgence in his performance and it will be interesting if he can replicate that again tonight. If Sheldon Richardson is out, look for AP to have a nice game. The Cards also have one of the best secondaries in the NFL with Patrick Peterson and the Honey Badger. Will Arizona win tonight? I doubt it, but look for them to cover.
